How to Prepare for Your Appointment

PAYMENTS

Appliance Alliance operates independently. We do not receive compensation from any appliance store related to your service request. Payment is required to be made directly to us upon completion of the service. Additional parts and labor beyond a standard installation may incur additional fees. Accepted forms of payment include cash, checks, debit, and credit cards. Please note that a surcharge may be applied to credit card payments to offset the transaction fees we incur.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME
  • Ensure the outside path for appliance delivery/removal is free of snow, ice, and debris.

  • Ensure the inside path to the installation area is clear of any obstacles, including rugs, furniture, young children, and pets.

  • Check the specifications section for your appliance to ensure it will fit the intended space.

  • Please have an adult age 18+ (who is responsible for payments and decision-making) present at all times.

CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS

We require a minimum of 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Our installer will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes for your arrival before proceeding to the next appointment. Failure to be available at your scheduled appointment may result in a $20 fee for subsequent appointments.

SAFETY

Safety is our top priority. We install appliances only when existing utilities are adequate. We reserve the right to decline service if it poses a hazard to the customer or our team.

Dishwasher Installation

An existing cabinet and countertop are required to mount the dishwasher. Tyler will likely need to access the cupboard underneath your sink, so please have this area cleared out beforehand. Also note, Tyler may need access to a basement or crawl space to reach your main waterline.

Refrigerator Waterlines & Icemakers

Please ensure your delivery team has put your refrigerator in place. We do not move or haul them away. Also note, Tyler may need access to a basement or crawl space to reach your main waterline.

Over-the-range Microwaves

An existing cabinet with a dedicated outlet is required. Please ensure Tyler has access to this cabinet by clearing it out beforehand. We recommend checking your appliance manual to ensure you have the required amount of clearance between the bottom of your microwave and your stovetop. Additionally, the cooktop/range should not be in use or hot during installation for safety reasons.

Wall Ovens/Combo Units & Cooktops

We advise verifying your measurements. If the appliance does not fit, you may incur service charges for alterations to your cabinet or countertop, or the appliance may not be installed. If you are uncertain or need assistance, we offer pre-measurement appointments.

Garbage Disposals

Please ensure that your sink and the cupboard beneath it are empty, as our installer will need access to this area in order to complete the installation.

Washers & Dryers

Appliances must be in place. Our installer will neither move them nor haul them away.

Television Mounts

The customer is responsible for providing the bracket. Only basic mounting is included; cords will remain exposed unless otherwise arranged. The mounting area must be free of all obstructions and breakable items.

Tyler took the time to tell me about the appliance and what to watch out for. Friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Could not be happier.
